Cornered In
It may sound unbelievable, but standing in a corner can be a lot of fun for kids on a rainy spring day -- in this quirky group game anyway.
- What You Need
-
- Masking tape
- Blindfold
- Instructions
-
-
Number the four corners of a room using pieces of masking tape stuck to the floor.
-
Choose one child to be the caller and have her put on a blindfold.
-
Everybody else forms a circle around the caller.
-
While the caller quietly counts to 10, the others scurry to corners of their choosing.
-
The caller shouts out a number from 1 to 4. Whoever is in that corner is out.
-
Now the caller counts to 10 again while the remaining players sneak off to new corners.
-
The game continues until one person is left; he then becomes the next caller.
