Four Critters of a Kind
Race to collect pigs and rabbits in a silly card contest.

- Scissors
- Card stock
- Colored markers
- Instructions

Make a deck of cards by cutting out sixteen 5- by 4-inch cards out of a large sheet of cardstock. With colored markers, draw a pig on four of the cards. The animals need not be identical as long as they are easy to identify. Make similar sets of four using dog, rabbit, and cat images.

Shuffle the deck thoroughly before playing.

Deal all the cards at once.

Once all the players have looked at their hands, the dealer counts to three, and everyone passes a card, face down, to the person on his or her right.

Players continue to shift cards around the table in this manner, picking up the pace all the while.

As soon as a player collects four "like" animals, she discreetly puts her finger on her nose and waits.

Anyone who notices instantly folows suit. The last one to touch his nose loses.
