Red Ball Game: Bull's-Eye Bounce
Red balls are kinder and gentler than basketballs and easier to throw than footballs -- making them the perfect choice for younger children.
- What You Need
-
- Red playground ball
- Chalk
- Two players
- Instructions
-
-
Draw a 5-foot-wide chalk circle on the ground about 10 feet from a cement wall.
-
Draw a 2-foot-wide inner circle in the center.
-
Players take turns tossing a rubber ball at the wall and letting it bounce on the ground once before catching it.
-
If the ball lands on the center circle before a player catches it, he earns 10 points; if it bounces in the outer ring, he earns 5 points.
-
The first child whose score totals 50 points is the winner.
