"I've got a feeling that my kids will be 16, and the Easter Bunny will still have to lay down a jelly bean trail for them to find their baskets," laughs Kim Hogan of Enumclaw, Washington. "That's how much they love it." For now, Jennifer and Christopher are only 8 and 4, respectively, and Easter morning finds them leaping from bed to follow their very own candy paths. Forget Hansel and Gretel's boring old crumbs!

What You Need
  • 2 or 3 bags of jelly beans
Instructions
  1. To set up the trails: "All I do is vacuum the rug the night before!" Kim says with a wink. The next morning, the Easter Bunny simply winds the sweet routes from the kids' bedrooms throughout the house to where their baskets await. Kim suspects that he needs 2 or 3 bags of jelly beans for his trailblazing, and he seems to space the beans about 6 inches apart.
