More than 300 locations, mainly in New England and eastern Canada.

HISTORY:
First played in a YMCA in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1887.

DUCKPIN

Bottle-shaped; just over 9 inches high; 1 1/2 lbs.

HISTORY: Developed by baseball's John McGraw and Wilbert Robinson in 1898.
