This shooting tournament gives globetrotters a chance to show off their game.

What You Need

• Basketball hoop
• Chalk

• 15-foot rope

Instructions

1. To draw the court, have one child stand directly below the net holding one end of the rope. Another player stands to one side holding the opposite end. Keeping the rope taut, she crosses the court in an arc, drawing a chalk line as she goes. Mark seven evenly spaced X's along the line.

2. The first player stands on the X closest to the right of the hoop and tries to sink a basket. If successful, she moves to the second X for a shot. Each time she makes a basket, she moves to the next mark.

3. If she misses, she can opt to turn play over to the next shooter and start from that spot on her next turn, or she can take a chance and try again. If she makes the basket, she continues on; if not, she must start from the beginning on her next turn.

4. The first child to reach the seventh X and sink a basket wins.
