Firefighter's Rescue Challenge
This obstacle course provides just a touch of danger, excitement and skill—perfect for little heroes-in-training.

- Obstacles
- Toy car or Big Wheel

Have the kids line up single file. Give the first child the fire hat to put on.

One by one, players should run through a series of obstacles. Some ideas: slip down a slide, drive a toy car across the yard to a playhouse (or refrigerator box "house") which is erupting in yellow posterboard flames, picking up a length of garden hose and pretending to douse the fire, running to a rope ladder and rescuing a stuffed animal clothespinned to a tree, etc.

Every brave firefighter that completes the course wins. Consider giving out computer-generated fire marshal certificates.
