-
Find a quantity of chairs equal to one less than the number of players and place the chairs in a circle with the seats facing out. Set up a tape player with a cassette that has an upbeat song.
-
When the music starts, the players circle around the chairs; when it stops, they must find someplace to sit.
-
Whoever's left standing at the end of a round must leave the game and take a chair.
-
- Tips:
- The final round, in which the last two survivors eye each other nervously in anticipation of the move towards the final seat, is likely to be a free-for-all. In such cases, the music master acts as referee. And his or her decisions are final.
