Half the fun of this marble-rolling game is creating the circuslike target.

What You Need

• Glue
• Shoe box
• Scrapbook or wrapping paper

• Scissors
• Pipe cleaners, feathers, stick-on rhinestones, felt, and other decorative items

Instructions

1. Use glue to cover a shoe box with scrapbook or wrapping paper. Cut three doorways of various shapes in one side with scissors. Decorate the box with pipe cleaners, feathers, stick-on rhinestones, felt, and whatever else you like. Our middle doorway has a fringed felt curtain and a jingle bell dangling from a string taped to the inside of the box; marbles rolling through the door will hit the bell.

2. To play, place the box at one end of a table and rolled-up towels along the edges of the table for bumpers. Players try to roll their marbles across the table and through the doors of the box.
