Toss and Catch Game

- 24-inch-long string
- 12-inch dowel
- Instructions

Tie a 24-inch-long string 2 inches from the top of a 12-inch dowel. On the free end of the string, tie a loop about 3 inches in diameter (smaller for older kids). Hold the dowel in your hand (so that the end with the string on it is pointing upward).

Gently swing the string around and try to hook the loop onto the top of the dowel. You can change the length of the string and the size of the loop to make the game more or less challenging.

- Instead of tying a string loop, you can tie on a shower curtain ring or pipe cleaner loop.
