The chest separates into two pieces, with the bottom half (the treasure) transmitting an electronic signal to the top half (the map) up to 40 feet away. After one person hides the treasure, another turns on the map, which beeps and flashes red as he nears the target. Our testers found it infinitely more accurate than parchment paper marked with an x.
