- Large box (found at office supply store, appliance store or from holiday deliveries)
- Paint
- Markers
- Glue
- Stapler
- Pipe cleaners, buttons, and any iems that could be fixed to the box
- Found objects such as: old kitchen tools and gadgets, recyclables, lids, containers, etc.

To transform a box into a time machine... you'll need to make a control panel with lots of gauges, buttons, screens and gears and a horn and certainly a steering wheel! (Affix pipe cleaners, buttons, old recycables, etc., to the box to create this control panel)

For the engine... it is fueled by memories and future predictions... so collect or draw pictures of what's happened-- to go back in time and what you hope will happen-- to go forward in time.
