A Super Sundae Party

Good and messy desserts from FamilyFun

This fudge sauce is quick to make, and almost (but not quite) as good as its slow-cooking cousin. If you aren't a fan of the mint chocolate combination, simply omit the peppermint extract and use vanilla instead.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp. peppermint or vanilla extract
X

Instructions
  1. Heat the milk and butter in a double boiler until the butter just melts (do not let it boil). Stir in the chips and peppermint or vanilla extract, whisking until smooth. Serve hot. Makes about two cups.
