Pajama Party Kids
Ten ways to sweeten a party from FamilyFun
Kirsten Son of Pajama Party Kids
South Weymouth, Massachusetts, made these "kidcakes"for her son Patrick's birthday. Patrick unwrapped and sorted the Fruit Stripe gum by color while his dad, Leo, drew the faces with chocolate. The striped shirts reminded us of pajamas, a fitting, though not sleep-inducing, addition to the Sleepover Party.

WHAT YOU NEED:
1 baked cupcake
White icing
Toothpick
1 chocolate chip, melted a few seconds in microwave
1 chewy fruit candy
Fruit Stripe gum (or fruit leather)
Colored icing in a tube

TO DECORATE:
Frost the cupcake with white icing. Dip the toothpick in the melted chocolate and use it to draw a face on the chewy fruit candy. To make the shirt, cut a stick of gum in half. Use one half for the body and cut the sleeves from the other half. Attach the face and add icing "hair."
