Froggy Cupcakes

Froggy Cupcakes

All winter, bullfrogs stay partially buried in riverbeds or stationed on the bottoms of ponds or lakes, where the water doesn't freeze. But it won't be long now before they're ready to spring into action. In the meantime, here's a fun cupcake-decorating technique that will give your kids a sneak preview of what's to come.

Start with a batch of cupcakes frosted a watery blue. For each one, slice a large green gumdrop in half. Press the tip of a white chocolate chip into the cut surface of each half, centering it near the bottom edge. Squirt a dab of black decorators' icing onto each chip. Then press the frog eyes into the frosting.
