Pink Pony Cake
There will be no 'neigh'-sayers when it comes to digging into this delicious cake! When throwing this Magical Pony Party you can be sure you won't be leaving your guests out to pasture.
- Ingredients

- 2 baked dome cakes (baked in a 1 1/2-quart bowl)
- 2 cups pink frosting
- Edible pink glitter or coloring dusts, available at party stores or www.sugarcraft.com
- Pink sour tape (mane and eyelid)
- 3 Milk Duds (eye and nostrils)
- Good & Plenty (ear lining)
- Black and red shoestring licorice (eyelashes and mouth)
- Silk flowers

Place one dome cake rounded side up. Cut the other into pieces as shown.

Cut and arrange the second cake as shown to create the pony's snout and ears. -
Ice the entire cake with pink frosting, then dust it with pink edible glitter. Curl strips of pink sour tape by wrapping them round a wooden spoon handle. Arrange them in place to create a flowing mane.

Complete the pony with a Milk Duds eye and nostrils, Good & Plenty ear lining, shoestring licorice eyelashes and mouth, and a sour tape eyelid.

Adorn the mane with silk flowers (and don't forget to remove them before serving!)

- This fanciful pony is sprinkled with a little magic -- a dusting of edible glitter. Although our pony looks pretty in pink, yours could be frosted with any of your child's favorite colors.
