Pokémon Cupcakes
Here's where Pokémon cards come in handy--your guests will use them as visual guides as they "make 'em all". With these cupcakes, trainers won't have to do any catching.
- Ingredients

- Vanilla frosting
- Food coloring (for orange, yellow, black, pinkish purple and green icing)
- Cupcakes--2 to 3 per guest, plus extras for sculpting
- Red rope licorice
- Black gel icing
- Black gel icing
- Different colored gumdrops
- Junior mints
- Candy corn
- Different colored jellybeans
- Hershey's Kisses
- Toothpicks

Line a table with a tablecloth for easy clean-up.

Fill bowls with candy for decorating, as well as different colored frosting (just add food coloring to the vanilla frosting).

Using their Pokémon cards as visual guides, let your guest go wild as they decorate.

- Tips:
PIKACHU:Yellow frosting body, tops of leftover cupcake for cheeks, red gumdrop cut in half for cheeks, black gel icing for nose and mouth, junior mints eyes, white cake decor eyeballs, candy corn ears with dabs of black frosting at ends (attach with toothpick).
CATERPIE: Green head, leftover cupcake for nose (attach with toothpick), yellow gumdrop cut in half for eye, white cake decor eyeballs, black gel icing for outline on nose, three pieces of red rope licorice for "tentacles".
CHARMANDER: Orange frosting body, top hump of leftover cupcake for nose (attach with toothpick), black gel icing outline, teeth cut out of mini marshmallow, green gumdrop cut in half for eyes, white cake decor eyeballs.
JIGGLYPUFF: Purplish pink frosting, leftover cupcake hump for forehead, black gel icing for swirl and nose, a quarter of a red jellybean mouth, Hershey's Kiss cut in half for ears (attach with toothpick), black gel icing for paws, green gumdrop cut in half for eyes, white cake decor eyeballs.
