Try something different and sweet the next time you're stuffing your bird.

Ingredients

• 2 8-oz. pkgs. herb stuffing mix
• 4 celery stalks

• 4 tart apples or hard pears
• 1 1/2 cups pecans

Instructions

1. Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions. Chop the celery and pecans. Peel, core and chop the apples or pears. Add to stuffing mix, place in a heavy casserole and cover.

2. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes until heated through, basting with turkey broth (optional). Makes 8 servings.
