Microwaved Sesame Broccoli

Healthy veggies in the microwave.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
  1. Spread the sesame seeds on paper towel. Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes or until the seeds turn light brown. Set aside. Cut the broccoli into florets and remove the tough stems. Place the broccoli in a microwave-safe casserole with the stems pointing out. Add the water, cover tightly, and cook on High for 4 minutes. Uncover and let stand for two minutes before tossing with the sesame seeds and seasoning. Makes 4 servings.
