Brownie Troop 1169 of Scottsboro, Alabama, concocted s'mores in a fire-free (and mess-free) way by using ziplock bags and tinkering a bit with the usual recipe. In addition to being gooey and delicious, this variation on a classic snack comes with a lesson about resourcefulness and ingenuity. "The girls not only had fun, but they also learned that there's often more than one way to do something," says troop leader Martha Avans.
