Ice Cream Cone Clown

This dessert proves that birthday cakes need not always take center stage. For easier handling, make the cones in batches of four.

• 1 dark chocolate bar
• 4 sugar ice cream cones
• Ice cream (your choice of flavors)
• Shredded coconut
• Candies


		Step 1: Begin by melting a dark-chocolate bar over a double boiler (or in the microwave).

		Step 2: With a brush, paint a thin layer of chocolate onto four sugar cones and set aside.

		Step 3: Place four ice-cream scoops on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper, then wedge on the hats. Decorate each face with candy and coconut.

		Step 4: Freeze for at least two hours, then peel off and place on dessert plates.
