Since my teenage daughters, Julia and Lizzie, snowman

were old enough to lick the spoon, I've invited them into the kitchen to bake.

Over the years we've picked some favorite holiday recipes, such as this Smiling Snowman Cake, and we've made a point of trying a few fresh ideas from around the world.
