Your Best Homemade Candy Recipes

Nuts and chocolate are a natural combination, so target your special someones with these delicious concoctions.
(We haven't had a chance to try these recipes yet, but they look delicious!)

Peanut Clusters
1 lb. white almond bark
1 lb. chocolate chips
1 lb. Spanish peanuts

Melt chips and almond bark in the microwave. Stir in peanuts. Drop by tablespoons onto waxed paper. Allow to sit for an hour or two until firm.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Sandwiches
Ritz crackers
Peanut butter
White or chocolate almond bark, melted

Spread peanut butter between two Ritz crackers and dip sandwich into the melted almond bark.

To avoid any waste, make as many of the peanut butter/crackers as you think you will need and then melt the almond bark as you go. Also, you can crush up candy canes or some other type of hard or mint candy and mix it into melted almond bark. Spread it in waxed paper to set and then just break it into chunks.

Chocolate Stacks
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 can (5 oz.) chow mein noodles
1 cup salted peanuts or slivered almonds

Melt chocolate carefully (either in the microwave in 10-second increments or in a double boiler). Remove from heat and add noodles and nuts. Fold in carefully until the noodles are well coated.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets that have been lined with wax paper or parchment. Chill and let harden for 8 hours or overnight.
