These three frozen drinks make a healthy mid-afternoon snack or after-dinner indulgence. For each one, place the ingredients listed in a blender and combine until smooth.

Ingredients
  • WATERMELON BATIDO
  • 3 cups frozen seedless watermelon chunks
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (serves 3)
  • BANANA-HONEY SMOOTHIE
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup milk, 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 cup ice (serves 2)
  • MANGO LASSI
  • 1 small, ripe mango *
  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup water, 1 cup ice (serves 2)
X

Tips:
* We like ataulfo (also called champagne) mangoes, for their extra-sweet flavor (you can use fresh or frozen; just defrost the latter before using). If you use another kind, sweeten the recipe with a tablespoon of honey.
