Decorative T-shirts from FamilyFun

by Nicole Blasenak

If there's a time of year that families everywhere look forward to, it's short-sleeve season. Dressed to a T And if there's a classic warm-weather activity that kids really relish, it's decorating their own T-shirts. But we're not just talking tie-dye here. As much as we love that classic rubber-band summer camp standby, we've rounded up some clever new ideas to try on for size. These techniques range from carrot-stamped mosaics to reverse stencils to mix-and-match block prints, all of which leave plenty of room for a child's personal style to shine through.

In fact, whether your freehand sketches should be hanging in the Louvre or your drawing repertoire consists only of stick figures and lollipop trees, you and your kids are sure to find a method here for turning Ts, tanks, or any other top for that matter, into fashionable masterpieces.
