A "My Great Idea" from FamilyFun
My daughter, Mikayla, three-and-a-half, and our neighbor Jessica, five, loved this easy-to-make Thanksgiving project. We inserted the end of a paper towel tube a few inches through the centers of two paper plates that we'd stapled together. We then decorated the short end of the tube to look like a turkey, adding a construction paper head, beak, and feathers. We also added some pipe cleaner legs and googly eyes. The turkeys were fun to make, and the kids gobbled around the house all day.
