Pumpkin People
A "My Great Idea" from FamilyFun
We often have pumpkins left over after Halloween and Thanksgiving, and as long as they aren't punctured, we transform them into snow people to enjoy during the warm California winter. My daughter, Chloe, and I first coat a pumpkin with white acrylic paint, and then we hot-glue a white Styrofoam ball on the top for a head (or secure it over the stem), buttons for eyes, and a felt nose. We finish our creature with twig arms and a felt scarf.
