OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, NOR WILL A PURCHASE IMPROVE ONE'S CHANCES OF WINNING
1. SPONSOR: Buena Vista Magazines, Inc., dba FamilyFun Magazine, 47 Pleasant St., Northampton, MA 01060, who is solely responsible for all aspects of this sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes").
2. ENTRY: This Sweepstakes may only be entered by Internet, during the period commencing at 12:01 A.M., December 27, 2006, and ending at 11:59:59 P.M., March 31, 2007, as a registered member ("Member") of FamilyFun.com ("Web site"), by visiting the Web site and logging in by providing your Member Name and Password. For purposes of these Official Rules ("Rules"), all times and days are Pacific Time. If you are not a Member, you may easily register for free to become a Member through the link on the site: "Not Registered?" by filling out the simple Registration Form. Upon registration, or if you are already a Member, you may participate in this Sweepstakes by following the "How to Enter" instructions ("Entry"). Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply. It is your sole responsibility to notify the Sponsor in writing if you change your e-mail address ("Address"). To do so, go to: http://register.go.com/disney/GuestServices/YourAccount/home, log into your Web site account, click on the "Modify" icon and follow the instructions on how to change your Address.
3. LIMITATIONS: All Entries must be received by 11:59:59 P.M., March 31, 2007. Entries are limited to one Entry per person/Address per day (regardless of whether one person has more than one Address or more than one person use the same Address). In event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the Address is registered. Entries by any method other than set forth above in Section 2 are void. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effecting Entry is prohibited. Open only to persons 18 or older upon entering who are legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 states, D.C. or Canada (excluding Quebec) ("Territory") and not employees of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies; the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of any of them (individually and collectively, "Entities"); nor members of their households or immediate families. Neither the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or representatives (individually and collectively, "Releasees") are responsible for Entries from persons residing, or physically located, outside the Territory, or Entries that are altered, delayed, deleted, destroyed, failed, fraudulent, improperly accessed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, late, lost, misrouted, multiple, non-delivered, stolen, tampered with, unauthorized or unintelligible; or any printing, production, technical, electronic or other errors; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications; failed phone, computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; garbled or jumbled transmissions; undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering; insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail; or other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, mechanical or human error or other causes; even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Each of such potential Entries will be disqualified. Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, local and municipal laws and regulations.
4. PRIZE: One (1) GRAND PRIZE: A five (5) day / four (4) night trip for four (4) to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida ("Trip"), consisting of the following elements: [1] Resort hotel accommodations for four (4) persons (one standard room) for four (4) nights; [2] four (4) Magic Your Way passes for admission for five (5) days to the Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park; [3] ground transportation throughout the Resort; [4] if winner resides more than two hundred fifty (250) miles from the Resort, round-trip coach air transportation for four (4) between the major metropolitan airport nearest winner's residence ("airport of origin") and Orlando International Airport and [5] airport/hotel transfers. All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely the winner's responsibility, including but not limited to: transportation to the Resort if a winner resides less than two hundred fifty (250) miles from the Resort, round trip transportation between the winner's residence and any airport of origin, room service, parking fees, laundry service, food, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, telephone calls, tips, gratuities and service charges. Airline carrier and Resort regulations and conditions apply. Travel and lodging are subject to availability, certain restrictions, blackout dates and Sponsor's approval and must be booked at least forty-five (45) days prior to the date of arrival at the Resort. Trip must be completed by August 31, 2008. Approximate retail value: $4,312 which will vary depending upon point of departure and seasonal fluctuation of hotel rates and airfares. Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable, except to a surviving spouse residing in the same household. No substitution allowed except, at Sponsor's sole discretion, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. Prize will be awarded provided it is validly claimed by June 1, 2007, after which no alternate winner will be selected, nor unclaimed prize awarded.
5. PROCEDURES: Sweepstakes begins 12:01 A.M., December 20 and ends 11:59:59 P.M., March 31, 2007. On or about April 1, 2007, in a random drawing, potential winner will be selected from all eligible Entries received. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received.
6. WINNER: Potential winner will be notified by U.S. Mail on or about April 10, 2007. Disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: [1] potential winner's failure to respond to notification within ten (10) days after its mailing; [2] the return of any notice as undeliverable; [3] potential winner's failure to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release within ten (10) days after its mailing; [4] potential winner's failure to be available to make the Trip; [5] potential winner's failure to validly claim the prize by June 1, 2007 and [6] any other non-compliance with Rules. Winner and guests must travel together on same itinerary; and any minor must be accompanied on the Trip by his/her parent/legal guardian. All guests will be required to execute and return a Release of Liability prior to ticketing. All Canadian residents will be required to answer correctly a mathematical skill testing question without assistance of any kind whether mechanical or otherwise to be declared a winner and be eligible to collect the prize. Winner and guests are solely responsible for obtaining any and all necessary travel documents (valid photo I.D., etc.) before departure. All taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of the prize. 7. CONDITIONS: Each entrant by entering the Sweepstakes agrees that: [1] he/she will abide by and be bound by the Rules and the Sponsor's decisions; [2] the Entry becomes solely the Sponsor's property and will not be acknowledged; [3] the Releasees are not responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of the prize; participation in the Sweepstakes or in any activity or travel related thereto or from any interaction with, or downloading of, computer Sweepstakes information; [4] winner's acceptance of the prize constitutes the grant to Sponsor and assigns of an unconditional right to use winner's name, address (city and state or province only), voice, likeness, photograph, biographical and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law; [5] in the event viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, Acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism or other matters beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, so that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, the Sponsor has the right to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes; and in such event, to select a winner by random drawing from among all eligible Entries received up to such time of cancellation, modification, termination or suspension and in the event the Trip has already commenced, to terminate the Trip and return the winner and guests to any airport of origin as soon as reasonably possible; [6] the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to: errors in the advertising, Rules and selection and announcement of the winner; [7] any portion of the prize not accepted or used by the winner will be forfeited and [8] the Releasees are not responsible for any inability of the winner to accept or use the prize (or any portion thereof) for any reason.
