GULF STATE PARK
The park is uniquely situated between the warm saltwater of the Gulf of Mexico and the freshwater of Lake Shelby. Along the gulf, you can fish from an 825-foot pier and beachcomb on 2 1/2 miles of fine white sand. The nature center hosts kids' storytime, sand castle-building contests, nature talks and beach walks.
Other activities include biking, boating (boats are available for rental), fishing, golf, swimming and tennis. Call 251-948-7275 or click here for more information.
