With its pink sand beaches and British panache, Bermuda is picturesque pretty and, also, pricey. That's why an off-season visit is a bargain. From November through March the temperature averages 70 degrees F, but the room rates drop 30 to 50 percent. The crowds are gone, the springlike weather is perfect for golf, and there's plenty to do. Play with dolphins, take a virtual submarine tour, explore centuries-old forts, hike nature trails and build sand castles with your kids. Okay, so the Atlantic Ocean is too cold for swimming. But if you pick a property with an indoor pool, your kids won't even miss splashing in the ocean.
