Turn right onto Royal Brougham and drive for 5 blocks past Safeco Field to Alaskan Way. Turn right onto Alaskan Way; keep to the left lane. Arthur D. Feiro Marine Life Center
After departing the ferry in Winslow, follow Highway 305 North for about 13 miles to Highway 3. Take a right onto Highway 3 North and drive about 7 miles to Highway 104. Take a left onto Highway 104 West and drive for about 16 miles to Highway 101, the main thoroughfare around Olympic National Park. Follow Highway 101 West for 37 miles to North Lincoln Street in Port Angeles. Take a right onto North Lincoln Street heading north and drive for about 1 block to East Railroad Avenue. Hurricane Ridge
To get to the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, return to Highway 101 and backtrack about 1 mile east to Race Street. Turn right onto Race Street, which will turn into Mount Angeles Road. Drive for about 1 mile to the Olympic National Park Visitor Center (3002 Mount Angeles Road). From the visitors' center, continue south on Mount Angeles Road to the park entrance. Hike to Marymere Falls

Hoh Rain Forest

Kalaloch Beach
Backtrack to Highway 101 and turn left. Drive for about 14 miles to Rudy Beach, the first of the easily accessible Olympic National Park beaches. Kalaloch Beach is about 8 miles south on Highway 101.5:45 P.M., LAKE QUINAULT
The Salmon House at Rain Forest Resort Village and Lake Quinault Lodge
The Lake Quinault Lodge is less than an hour's drive from Kalaloch Beach. Follow Highway 101 southeast for about 30 miles to Lake Quinault. Then turn left onto South Shore Road. Quinault Rain Forest Nature Trail
The Quinault Rain Forest Nature Trail is located about 1 mile west of Lake Quinault Lodge on South Shore Road. From the lodge, turn right out of the parking lot and drive for about 1 mile. Hikers can pick up maps at Lake Quinault Lodge or the Quinault Ranger Station, immediately east of the lodge. Call (360) 288-2525 or go to the Official Olympic National Park Site.1 P.M.
Gatton Creek Trail
The Gatton Creek trailhead is about a half mile east of Lake Quinault Lodge on the South Shore Road. From the Quinault Rain Forest Nature Trail, turn right onto South Shore Road and drive for about three quarters of a mile. The Quinault Mercantile is located across from Lake Quinault Lodge at 352 South Shore Road. Call (360) 288-2620.3:30 P.M.
Lake Quinault Loop Drive and Quinault Big Cedar Trail
From Lake Quinault Lodge, drive east on South Shore Road for about 15 miles. After you cross the Quinault River, turn left onto North Shore Road. Follow signs for Lake Quinault Loop Drive. The 32-mile loop takes about 90 minutes to complete. The Quinault Big Cedar trailhead is situated across the street from Lake Quinault Resort (314 North Shore Road). Backtrack to Highway 101 and then return to Lake Quinault Lodge via South Shore Road.
TUESDAY
To return to Seattle, follow Highway 101 south for about 42 miles to Highway 12 East (follow signs for Olympia). Follow Highway 12 East for about 20 miles (it will become Highway 8 East). Continue on Highway 8 East for about 21 miles to Interstate 5 North. Follow I-5 North for about 60 miles to Seattle. The 150-mile trip takes about 3 hours to complete.
