AULLWOOD AUDUBON CENTER AND FARM: Witness organic farming in action and get a close-up view
of the animals in the farm yard, orchard, pond, pastures and crop fields at Aullwood. Located in western Ohio, the farm grows organic corn, soybeans, alfalfa, oats and spelt, a kind of wheat. In the pastures, you'll see cattle, Belgian draft horses and sheep. There are old turkeys who hang around, a chicken coop and a rabbit house. At the farm's muddy pond, look for turtles, frogs, dragonflies and ducks. Don't forget to visit the Big Barn, built in the early 1800s by German heritage farmers who used beams held together by wooden pegs.
