by Kelly Milner Halls

The following attraction, one of the best in the country, is sure to delight your budding young paleontologist.

ROCKY HILL, CONNECTICUT

Dinosaur State Park is one of the nation's finest dinosaur trackways. From May through October guests can make plaster casts from six sample tracks (all you have to do is bring your own tools, cooking oil and plaster of Paris). The park's visitor's center houses most of the 500 tracks currently on display. Call 860-529-8423 for details/prices, or visit the web site.
