Be aware of the effect the school calendar has on park attendance. If possible, avoid summers, spring break and school holidays.
Leave the park for lunch and/or dinner. Youll enjoy a better selection of food and more leisurely service at one of the Magic Kingdom resort restaurants. Try the Coral Isle Cafe or Narcoossees for lunch, or the California Grill (Disney execs eat there) or Artist Point for dinner.
Tour the kiddie lands, i.e., Fantasyland and Toontown, in the evening when most kiddies are already asleep.
Watch the SpectroMagic parade from Frontierland to avoid the Main Street crowd.
Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes? If so, you will enjoy the adults-only Keys to the Kingdom tour with a guide who will point out details a typical visitor misses. Tours usually leave in the morning; you can book by calling 407-WDW-TOUR (call for updated prices and info).
Watch the fireworks while having dessert at Cítricos (how does citrus crème brûlée or key lime cheesecake with berries sound?) in the Grand Floridian Resort.
