On August 12, 2000, the Disney Magic began offering a seven-day Caribbean Cruise. You set sail on Saturday, and from there the itinerary is:
Sunday and Monday: Two days at sea
Tuesday: St. Maarten
Wednesday: St. Thomas/St. John
Thursday: At sea
Friday: Castaway Cay, Disney's private island
While on board, you'll have the same great perks as the three- and four-day cruises, i.e., rotation dining so you can sample all the ship's restaurants, Broadway-caliber stage shows featuring Disney characters, adults-only pools and lounges and dawn-to-dusk kids' programs for every age group from preschoolers to teens. Since the seven-day trip includes three full days at sea, some extras have been added--a new magic-themed stage show, all-night tropical celebrations, two black-tie optional dinners, champagne brunches and high tea.
Although the exact price varies with the time of year and the level of the stateroom, cost of a seven-day cruise for a family of four starts at about $4,349.80. The price per adult starts at $3,058.95 , price per child ages 3 to 17 starts at $733.95 and price per child under 3 starts at $297.45. Babies under 12 weeks old are not allowed on board.
