Our family just returned from a week-long vacation in San Diego and Anaheim California. We live in Texas and have 2 boys, ages 6 and 22 months. Our tip: buy either the San Diego Pass or the L.A. City Pass, rent a car, and stay at hotels with suites that serve breakfast. Our San Diego Pass gave us access to the San Diego Aquarium, Wild Animal Park, the San Diego Zoo, Legoland and many other attractions for what we'd pay to enter 2 of them. A great deal! We didn't buy it but the L.A. Citypass includes access to Universal Studios in L.A., 3 day parkhopper to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, Seaworld in San Diego, the San Diego Zoo or the Wild Animal Park. We drove California's scenic Pacific Highway 101 and hung out on the beach. From there we drove to Anaheim and spent 2 days at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. Our hotel served a full breakfast every morning, was just outside the park, and had a shuttle every 20 minutes to Disneyland. Truly a dream vacation!
