KELLY, WYOMING
With the spectacular Grand Teton National Park as an outdoor classroom, Teton Science Schools offer natural science programs tailored for different age groups. Kids ages 8 to 12 will discover slithery creatures in the woods, microscopic life in the wetlands, and other natural wonders of the region. The five-day classes, held between mid-June and early August, are so popular that attendees are chosen by lottery on April 20 (from forms postmarked by April 12). Adults may choose one- to four-day workshops in wildflower photography, bird-watching, field botany and more. Participants stay off-site. Tuition is $170. Call 307-733-1313.
