Create a flurry of Valentine decorations with this easy, heart-filled paper-snowflake technique.

Materials

• Origami paper

• Scissors

Instructions

1. Simply fold a piece of origami paper (we used the standard 5 7/8-inch squares) in half diagonally, then in half twice more, as shown.

2. Fold the resulting triangle so that the short folded edge meets the long folded edge.

3. Draw a curve and a notch as shown, and carefully cut them out. Unfold.

Tips:

Cut carefully to avoid snipping off the point.
