Window Heart

Total Time Needed:
1-2 Hours

A window-art valentine is clearly a great idea: it sticks on a pal's window and lets the love shine through. We based our card on a valentine sent in by Tracy Neal of Lewisville, Texas.

Materials
  • Paper
  • Pencil
  • Window-art kit (we like the Klutz Window Art kit best, $22 at Amazon.com, which makes about a dozen decorations)
  • Small plastic candy bag
  • Permanent marker
X

Instructions
  1. Window Heart - Step 1 Simply draw or print a heart outline on a piece of paper, then follow the directions on a window-art kit for tracing it and filling it in.

  2. Once the paint has dried, peel the heart from its plastic backing, package it inside a small plastic candy bag, and add your message to the bag with permanent marker -- try "You see through me," "Clearly, we're good friends," or "I'm stuck on you."
