Signs of Love
A Valentine's My Great Idea from FamilyFun.com
Two years ago, we made our valentines using a symbol from American Sign Language. We cut tracings of our children's hands from construction paper and glued small hearts in contrasting colors to the center of each hand. We then wrote sweet messages on the hearts and folded down the two center fingers to form the ASL sign for "I love you." Not only was this card good for Valentine's Day, but it also was a way for relatives and friends to keep up with the growth of our children. -- Barbara T., Chandler, Arizona
